Messing Around

Nikon's CLS is pretty cool, especially when you don't have the time to set up any of the remote triggers. Recently Nikon fixed up my old sb600 which was firing randomly on its own (good story behind that), and I haven't had a chance to play with it until now. This is a really boring light set up and photo, so I apologize. I'll do something more interesting soon after my test. I included a pull back view so you can see where the strobes were placed. No diffusing used because I wanted to create an overly contrasty photo with a sharp shadow transition on my face. Didn't work out quite how I wanted (probably should've adjusted to light the background animals a little more evenly, and it would've been cool with a hairlight halo-effect), so you can plan on seeing me try a similar photo soon.

Manual Mode, 1/40s, f/9.0, CLS wireless triggering, sb600 on bench left, sb900 on floor
