reunited and it FEELS SOO GOOD

my lucky cat charm sitting on a Bank of America sofa
random pig statue in my bookshelf. Dunno how it got there
:o) Been too long since I've taken her photo
gorgeous sunset on the river
pretending to be a photographer
manual exposure at 1/4 second, with bounce flash at -2.7 eV TTL
BATMAN! ("smile, so I can focus on your teeth...!")
Sometimes I forget how commonplace this sight is in Red Bank
This dragon painting was glow-in-the-dark...awesome...
close focusing capabilities of the 24 mm
I love this fov so much...but when I go to full frame it'll be even wider.
Immediately noticed my bbc hat and gloomy bear notepad. a true friend of mine.

Finally got to hang out with my oldest and best friend Ashton, after being separated for half year. Gosh I've missed this kid. Nothing like reigniting old flames by showing off a fancy new Nikon lens while the oaf continues to support Sony. BAHAHAHA. Even if I never see my 17-55 ever again, I have to say...I could be content with this lens for probably the rest of my life. It's just that good. Check out some of the photos I took tonight. It was practically pitch dark minus some street lamps. But having a sharp and useable f/1.4 came super handy, because it let me use iso 400 all night, so the dynamic range capabilities of the d300s performed amazingly. We caught the tail end of sunset at Red Bank, saw a car get into an accident because of reckless teenagers, and talked about our college lives. I let him use my canon body, since the poor chap's camera sucks ;)
